Hearty Cinnamon Apple Cake

For me the combo of Apple and Cinnamon can never go wrong. One of my favorite ways of having them is to cook sliced apples with cinnamon for breakfast! But I know that’s not the most popular version so here’s something I’m sure you’re going to love plus it’s super easy to make.
YOU NEED:
1 ½ Cups Gluten-free all purpose Flour (King Arthur Baking is a great choice)
2 ½ Tablespoons Baking Powder
¾ cup Maple Sugar
½ cup Olive oil
½ cup orange juice, freshly squeezed 
½ cup Walnuts
2 small apples, grated
1 tablespoon ground Cinnamon
1 drop Cinnamon Bark essential oil (doTERRA’s oil off-course :))

YOU DO:
1- Preheat the oven to 350 F
2- Lightly grease your baking dish with some vegan butter and set aside
3- In a large bowl combine, freshly squeezed orange juice, Olive oil, Maple sugar and Cinnamon Bark essential oil
4- In a separate bowl mix flour, baking powder and ground Cinnamon.
5- Mix wet and dry ingredients together. Once they’re evenly mixed, fold in apples and walnuts
6- Pour the mixture into your baking dish and bake for 45 minutes (when the top is golden to light brown and/or the toothpick comes out clean)
