Sun Kissed, a Tad Much?

One of my most vivid memories of beach sand and sun goes way back to when I was a teenager. I was on a trip with my aunt’s family, by the Caspian sea back home in Iran.

Beautiful nature, lush forests, great food and… but off-course all my cousin and I could think about was to lay by the beach and sun bath!

We had a genius recipe that included Olive oil,Tomato, coffee and few spices and that was rubbed all over for the ultimate tan, true story.

We did get tan alright, but we also burned like a real barbecue gone wrong, I mean olive oil under the sun?! I leave the rest to your imagination.

Now I hope you don’t use the above recipe, the color is great but painful, however if you do spend too much time on the beach, I suggest you use the recipe below.

You need:

1 cup Aloe Vera juice

1/2 cup carrier oil of choice (I’d choose something super light)

1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil

8 drops Lavender Essential oil

8 drops Melaleuca Essential oil

8 drops Roman Chamomile Essential oil

8 drops Helichrysum Essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a 16 ounce glass spray bottle, shake well before use and spray it all over your burned skin. Feel free to repeat as needed.

To make your life easier, I’ve bundled the essential oils that you’ll need in one place, just click the link below and get your oils. As always, if any questions, feel free to email me directly and ask.
