Wanna Eat Less Salt? Do this.

How often do you crave salt?  Have you ever thought about why you suddenly crave salty stuff?

Your body is a fascinating system and there are various reasons why you may be craving salt, including just the habit of adding extra salt to everything you eat.
It’s true, your body can’t live without some Sodium. It needs it to transmit nerve impulses, contract and relax muscle fibers (including those in the heart and blood vessels) and maintain a proper fluid balance. However too much salt in your body can add extra pressure on your kidneys and your heart.
So if you’re catching yourself having too much salt too often, here are 3 simple way to help you reduce it:

1- Cook your own food:
The best way to nourish yourself, you know exactly what’s in your food and how much of it.

2- Limit your consumption of packaged food:

Especially the ones with “instant” in their names, they usually have way more Salt than you need.

3- Read the nutrition labels:

Make sure it contains less than 2,300 milligrams, the recommended daily value for sodium that should not be exceeded.
